Saving large image files......Tiff or Jpeg?

As per title, after PP, saving a very large image file 70MB upwards is it better to save Tiff or Jpeg?

I tend to save as Tiff so I can reuse layers if I wish

What is the best for retaining quality?

If you are going to keep re-saving then tiff, you can always so a "save as" to save as a jpg if you want to use it for something that needs a jpg. Look up lossy and lossless for quality reviews

Thanks, it worked out at 260MB and they wanted tiff so that was that sorted.
