Any thought on good ones, real life experiences? Looking for something that would fit a MacBook Pro 15 retina plus an EOS m3 body with a coupl of lens squeezed in; would prefer satchel style rather than “Billingham” style (ie camera bag style) look - as it would mostly be for the odd work trip so I can have a bit of “pleasure” at the same time - and vice versa have access to my mac/iPad on demand.

Had a browse of John Lewis, M&S etc - plus Ebay. I “like” this style, but sadly only a 13” - and I’m guessing it will fall apart after a week.

This is nice too - not sure would suit a laptop though! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/192336629696

Advice appreciated - if it’s decent and I like it, money no object.

Cheers

Money no object?

I have one of these and it is superb: https://www.filson.com/uk/luggage-bags/briefcases-computer-bags/24-hour-tin-briefcase.html (I have a couple of other Filson bags and this is my favourite).

It fits a large laptop in the padded laptop bit, a camera insert (Tenba BYOB) and a coat, has lots of pockets all of which are well thought out and very useful and is very comfy on the shoulder. Without camera gear in I can use it for short business trips as I can get two days of clothes in it (packing light) with a laptop and all work stuff (edit, and I can also fit a small mirrorless camera too).

Expensive yes, but I can't see me ever buying another shoulder bag.
