Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Ha ha! I love finding faces in things, and that's a great find. i'm sure the beer helped in some way

Why would you want to "recover" a section of white background?
Sorry i meant to recover the clipped highlights rather than recover any detail. As it is my eye is drawn to the bright white area rather than back around the flower. Maybe my monitor's a bit bright, probably wouldn't bother me if printed.

lovely shot - spoiled a little by the "stippled" effect -most obvious on the sky - presumably some form of anti-theft PP effect ?

Jim, yes it's a layer I add to all my shots, but shows up a bit more in this, I usually adjust the opacity a bit more. But there is a local site where I put my photo's & they don't always understand copyright.

Tim thanks :) He is very handy finding things for me to photograph on his bike rides.

Lovely shot Sarah! The colours of the poppy's, white flowers and rapeseed all contrast really nicely. Very pleasing on the eye. The depth of field is absolutely spot on. This would look really lovely printed. Can you send hubby down here on his travels please? I'm struggling to find a Poppy field!

Lovely shots Sarah
Especially love the purple flower shot, the shocked House and the Poppy's

Brilliant stuff!

Thanks All.
Tim I feel sorry for this horse, it's one of the gypsy ponies & is in this field on his own.
Jake, she is very photogenic, she was my model for the floppy hat shot as well :)
Kevin, thank you, glad you like the shots.
Jim, I will see if she got any shots, she did say she wished she'd taken her fish eye lens.

The house shot does indeed look like it is a little surprised

The Poppys are beautiful, we get them here, but they don't tend to be so prolific, there's only a few together, not huge fields of them :(

When I first came here there was a lovely big sun flower field just down the road - but since I've had my "proper" camera, it's not been planted with sun flowers again :(

Wow that is really nice. Love the simplicity (of the image not the execution) and the colours work together perfectly.
