Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Love that and well done for getting him to do it in a phone box too :)

Thanks Jim, considering that paper is not a pure white, just the reverse of a roll of heavy duty wall paper that I use for my infinity curves, I was happy with the way that the flash guns used in daylight completely whited it out.

That was me yesterday too - still got to get them off my camera yet though :$ - so prepare to be spectacularly underwhelmed :D

Nice one!

Love the daisies Sarah. spot on exposure, do you shoot tethered for these set ups?

Some lovely work here, Sarah (as usual!). The pot with daisies works so well and a lovely linear feel to it which draws the eye across nicely. The colour contrasts so well with the flowers and the pink bits on the petals really set everything else off well.

Superman is fun and well composed.

Percival is great, but for some reason, I had the words to Prince Charming running through my head as I viewed it!:lol:

Murder Most Horrid....can completely see this on a book cover! Nice and sharp, well put together, that poor teeny tiny tomato never stood a chance!

Only going back a page or so on everyone's, otherwise I'll have a breakdown trying to catch up! :D

Glamis Meadow & Woods

Very lucky to have this wood and meadow in the town & within the woods is the Red Well, one of the 5 wells of Wellingborough.
In 1628 it was visited by Charles 1 and his Queen Henrietta Maria, the well was said to help with fertility and as they went on to have 4 children, I guess that worked well :) He promised to have Wellingborough made into a spa town, but unfortunately the civil war got in the way.
The well has now been capped with a rather miserable concrete cover, giving no hint of it's history.

Leads your eye all the way down the path..I like it ;)

I like it - just the sort of path I'd want to walk down - assuming no clouds of midges hanging around natch :)

Thank You

Doesn't do much for me I must admit Sarah - perfectly exposed though :)

Thanks Jim, that was the practice yesterday, exposing for the shade and bright sunshine & trying to balance it. Somthing I find tricky.

You'd be ok Sarah, there were no midges.

Nice work Sarah .....................love the concept of where does the path lead !!

Thanks Vince.

Hi Sarah, not as attractive as your images usually are for me... :(

But I am learning so much about our area from you, so thanks. :)

Thanks Brian, not being able to get out much means I'm stuck to being close to the house & just going for short walks & not driving means I'm a bit limited, well apart from the still life :) I do want to try to capture the local area a bit more though & see what I can make of it.
