Nothing to gory today, all covered in bandages, but apparently he managed to do the op with only one incision on each leg & not two. Anyway, you can also see my lovely iodene oompa loompa orange tan that they put on for me
He (physio) did ask if I wanted crutches, but the surgeon wanted me up and walking to stop the scar forming on the muscle sheath, so I'm wiggling my ankles & having walks round the house
Today's shot is to say thank you to my friend Sue for sending me a lovely bell to attach to my deckchair so that I can call Andy if I need him whilst recovering from my operation.
Thanks Sue, it works a treat
Not moved much further than the conservatory today, apart from a quick walk along the park, so a still life shot today. Thank you to Simon for packing all my gear away for me after I'd finished.
Hi sarah. I do wish you a speedy recovery... just catching up and the fathers day sign raised a smile.. as usual you take beautiful flower shots...but the bell on the deck chair. BIG SMILE ... like the humor as well as the practicality...
Thanks both.
Certainly on the mend, am up and walking, but being soundly told off for trying to do too much, some bleeding under one of the plasters. But have been for a walk along the park yesterday and once today and plan another walk this afternoon. Not too sore, but keeping up with the ibuprofen. I've been signed off work for 2 weeks, but really need to be back in next Monday 17th as the other lady in accounts then goes off on holiday & there will be a massive pile of stuff for me to catch up on, plus doing her work as well But have to see the Dr as the fit note states 2 weeks. I want to be walking a lot more by then.
Andy & Simon took me for a walk round the park & along to the playground. I was not however, allowed to play on anything, not that I could Still, nice to get out and walking.
This was hand held squatting under the climbing frame with them both telling me get up or legs would hurt, much that I hate to admit it, they were right on that score
Glad you both liked it, although I'm miffed I couldn't quite get the edges of the first rail right in the shot, the lens on the compact wasn't quite wide enough.
Well, this isn't acutally my physio, but the physio for the op I've just had is walking, followed by rest, then some exercises from a sheet & repeat 3 times a day. So on my walk along the park this morning, I picked these, growing by the side of the park in the meadow area.
