No not been there, but it's on my list :)

I wore them on Xmas day to visit my wicked step mother (she's not wicked by the way, it's a family joke). One of my Dad's old friends is there & I can't stand the pompus old b****r & he normally waffles on, telling us all about is wrong with the world and how he is right about everything, on and on and on and on, ad nauseum :(. He looked at my shoes & said I can't say anything nice, so won't say anything at all. RESULT!! He didn't speak!!!!

Thank you :)

So do I, some people really don't though & I know who they are :D so wear them deliberately :)

b****r, should have Made the decking yellow in PS :)

...and make the Black Tights sheer Black Nylons with a seam while you're at it ;)

Frosty Morning

Not a technically brilliant shot today, just handheld on the compact so rather noisy, but I pass this park every day on my way to work and it looks lovely at this time of the year.
The land was originally owned by the monks of Crowland Abbey near Peterborough, but this has been changed over the years to Croyland. It has also been a Zoo which opened in the 1940's and closed in the 1970's. I remember going there as a child before it closed. My Nan used to know the owners & took me to visit them at their house in the town. They had flamingos in the back garden.

On the next frosty morning I will take my main camera & tripod with me.

Well, you're not used to the cold :) It's beautiful now, a real spring like feel in the air. Not going to last though, cloudy & bitter tomorrow apparently & maybe snow showers on Thursday!

Well, as I had to get into work early and this is in between the car park and my office it wasn't too hard :)

And that's with a P&S???? That's one stunning winter's morning shot

Thank you, it is very noisy though :( But I can go back. It looks like that on every frosty sunny morning.

Great frosty shot very crisp and clean

Thanks Vince.

Very Still Life

Well, I had no idea what I was going to shoot today, not a good thing when you are doing a 365! Thought about a local landscape, but the light is dull and flat, so thought I know, I'll do a still life, Andy bought me some flowers at the weekend that I could use. Anyway, I got home from work and this poor little devil had hit the conservatory & was lying dead in the path & as I picked it up to dispose of it, I thought what lovely colours, so took a shot first.
Anyway, bit of a maudlin shot, but there we go.

Oops yes VERY still life!!!...:-(

He does have gorgeous colours tho

Thanks Trace. I wasn't sure about putting this one up. A couple of years ago I entered a shot of a dead swan into a camera club competition & the Judge was most unhappy, apparently as a naturalist it "offended" him. I did say it wasn't as if I'd gone out and shot the blasted thing.
