Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

8th February 2013

"Can you tell what it is yet"

Most people can, Ice on top of the conservatory. Three images today, I couldn't really choose between them, but the first one should be the official as it was taken just after midnight when Andy first noticed the patterns on the conservatory roof. The colour is from the street light.
No photoshop trickery today either Jim :)

All three are stunning - but for some reason I quite like #2 :) #1 looks sort of like feathers and is just brilliant as well....oh, sod it, I like them all the same! :)

Wow! I really, really love these. #2 does it for me most!

Not so keen on the light colour in the first one, but I really love these - beautiful patterns and nicely shot. :D

All three of those are amazing, really well shot and amazing to look at. Personally love the golden one, its different

They are stunning!!.... going out to the car this morning my son told me to take pictures on our window for my photo.. i was going to but got sidetracked.... so we nearly would have had the same idea today lol

Definitely number 2, I think it's because the patterning seems to be reaching upward on that one whereas it's coming from top to bottom on the other 2?

All stunning though!

these are fantastic shots Sarah  Such great detail and would never have guessed they were ice patterns - amazing what you can get isnt it?

"Cool" - and they all look like feathers - well spotted Andy

Thanks Jim, I'm glad he spotted it .

Thank you, probably my favourite as well.

There has got to be some point in the year when some of us do the same :)

No 1 does it for me Sarah, nice.

Thanks Phil.

Number 2 is my favourite. Lovely shot.

Thanks Jake.

Can see what you mean, they were all shot from the same angle.

Thanks Carol.

Right, must get on, been so busy I haven't shot anything yet today.

Great shot Sarah, almost looks like an aerial view over fields with wee country roads!

Love the cabbage shot, great detail and the other stand out is the roses in a teacup. Lovely crisp shot that one. All in all some good stuff in your thread.

Fabulous macro of the cabbage, Sarah! Great detail there and, although I can't stand the stuff, you have done an excellent job! :)

I just love all three of your frost shots  although the street light glow does seem to give the first one an edge - they are all beautiful.

Cabbage macro is excellent too.

PP trickery - just don't listen to Jim - have you seen the pixelated crud he puts up on the what is it thread ;)

Ooh liking this alot!... very vibrant.. excellent Sarah!

Well Sarah, a cracking couple of pics there. Like you I can't make my mind up which of the 3 ice shots I like the best, all there are outstanding. Such great detail in the patterns too, you must be proud of those hun :thumbs::thumbs::clap::clap::clap::clap:

The macro of the cabbage, again brilliant detail you've captured again, and loving the candle holder shot, the colours are just brilliant.

Thanks Trace.

Nice abstract - great colour

Cheers Jim, a close up looked better than the whole thing.

Loving the colours. Looks like lava :D

Thanks Toni, that's what hubby said.

Nice and firey - I do like a bit of abstract :D

Thanks Sarah, I don't normally do them, but thought this year with the 365 I'd have a go.

Thank you, I was really pleased with them.

The textures in the cabbage leaf are great!
I like the candle holder shot too! :)

Thanks Jake.

The Friends Meeting House (Again)

I've photographed this once already for the 365 project in the sunshine & have also photographed in the snow with my compact just for a record of this winter, but not put a proper winter shot in the 365, so as it snowed last night, I thought I'd park up their on my way to work this morning to get today's shot.

Still nice - I like the leading lines of the gravestones - the dusting of snow adds to the effect for me :)

I have a few to catch up on! Loving your cabbage macro, that's excellent. As are the shots of the Ice, very well spotted by Andy too!
