Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Nicely done Sarah, jealous of your nice crisp white day compared to the day of rain that we had.

One word ........ beautiful! Great shot

Couple of cracking shots Sarah, like the pet dinosaur shot, and your wintry scene today is just brilliant. So jealous as the snow here lasted about half a day :(

The dinosaur one is clever (and I'm hungry now!). I love the gate one - I love lanes/paths/gates - inviting - makes you want to wander through and explore...

Gate and fence...breath taking. Feel you couldn't have moved round to bring the space in the distance more into alignment because it would have spoilt this focal point that is the gate framed by the over hanging tree.

Thanks all, I hadn't intended to go to this lane today, I had another road in mind, but as I was passing I thought I'd drive across the other side of the village to have a look. Glad I did. Think there are a few seasonal shots to do here.

how beautiful is this? even though it isn't brightly coloured it still is beautiful - love the detail of the leaves and great DOF

Thank you Carol, I almost prefer these at this time of year :)

Thanks Jim, I normally go for a much smaller apeture & try to get everything in focus, but went against that today & went for f2.8.

I'm falling behind on peoples threads. i'm sorry! these are 2 very gorgeous photos Sarah.. loving todays its stunning

Background sets them off lovely. I've not had any success with these yet, just got to find the "right" spot to plant them I guess

Very nice indeed Sarah. I have these all pruned off months ago in the gardens I look after!

Winter Lace

Always love to see the way these die back over the winter, so never prune them until the spring.
That's funny - I'm the same - don't prune them back either (I think it helps protect the new shoots from the frost?) and I thought of getting a shot as one of my 365 too! (But its been raining the past few days.) I like the detail in this.

My garden would look tidier if I did that :)

Nice tones and fantastic detail. Very nice!

Thank you :)

Lynn, take one inside :) Easier to control as well.

Both are very nice since my last visit, that winter scene in Day 16 is just wonderful

Thank you, that is my favourite so far as well.

Sarah , Winter is awesome love the delicate nature of the shot !!

Thank you Vince, don't usually do wide apetures much, but will do more now.

they are gorgeous ...... braver than me going out there and we only have an inch or so

Very pretty, you've managed to capture actuall snowflakes - how lovely.

I thought I'd like to have a go at photographing ice crystals - but my freezer is a self de-icing one :bang:

its actually warmer here today than it was yesterday so might venture out - might as well get a snow shot while we have it :)

I intend to Sarah
