Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

17th September 2013

Treason

Ok, I should have gone here on the 5th November, given the subject matter. But this was taken today in All Saints church at Great Harrowden, where the church warden had kindly opened the church for Simon & I to have a look round and take photographs. This book of common prayer dates from 1734 and sits in the church for all to see. I found this page quite fascinating as it is prayer of thanks for the gunpowder plot not succeeding and a tirade against the plotters. There is also a rare Doom painting on the wall over the altar.
It really is a gem of a church.

Loads of depth and detail and feels all olden days... You really captured the scene very well indeed. 4 seconds @ f20 eh? nicely done

Glad you like it. Wanted lots of detail in this especially on the page. On the full image you can read every word. My lad got a great shot there that he's put on flickr, he had a camera with a flashgun on hanging down in the bone hole under the floor.

I like them both ;)

...seems a bit odd to have a painting in a Church celebrating a Classic Video Game though...

nice and detailed - like the composition too - BTW I think they're pretty cute compared to most flying multi-legged things - except butterflys of course :)

A huge catch up here - the pear shot is amazing - very creative - just love it when a plan comes together :D

Treason is most excellent and almost looks staged and the sheep have a definite look of evil about them :D

Love the Autumn shot - lovely delicate tones and nice almost abstract composition

WOW!!

These are all excellent. I especially like the landscape shots - Never easy to convey what the human eye sees. And to keep up the standard on a daily basis is quite something to achieve.

I am enjoying your titles and humour too.
