That's nature for you Jim, this was carried straight in from the garden, very carefully to keep the rain on it

Nomally Jim, that is exactly what I would have done, or at least with my spray bottle that I use a mix of water & glycerine in, but this time the rain did it for me & I bought it in so I wouldn't get the camera wet!

I did think people might think that, I even thought of shaking the flower to remove some drops, but tried it with another rose on the bush & they all fell off. Hence bringing this one in very, very carefully

Glass is always a problem and I suspect that this is quite old glass which has it's own issues due to slight wear/scuff marks on most used surfaces which can make it look flat or even dusty on occasion.

Yes, it's 10mm tall! A friend bought it for me today, along with a set of old fashioned mountaineers, just to give me a challenge Been looking at the make and they do some amazing figures, so may go on an ordering spree
