I have found out one of my disks that came with a card.

loaded it into the comp

can i find the lost photos

and i think i may have found them BUT whatever i found i could only select one

does anyone have a linky or could run me through it in plain english step by step....:shrug:

I've never had much success with any of the recovey programes that come with Cards. It may be that the recovery software doesn't have the software for the latest cameras.

I use Photorescue which works well with files on my 3 canons including the 1Dslll.

OK it's not free but it has recovered images on a corrupt SD card today and saved my bacon.It's dead easy to use. Start program. Select card. Press next. Have coffee for about 30 mins. Save recovered images

SD card now residing in bin. fails once never trusted again
