These cards really are amazing! I did a shoot this week and had forgotten that i'd dropped one of my cards into my pocket.

Got home and believed i'd dumped all the pics to the Mac to start checking them out.

Well - i've just emptied the washing machine and sat in the bottom was a lovely, wet, shiney and HOT CF Extreme III Card.

Having banged the water out of it, I am amazed to say that the card works just fine. Pulled all of my pics from it no issues and just filled it with random pics of the hallway.

Nice one Sandisk!

Moral of the story...always check your pockets before they go into wash. Now...about this £50 note i've lost... :lol:
 
I suppose that's one way of cleaning them up.
 
Thank goodness for solid state memory. I dread to think what would have happened if it had been a microdrive !!
