Yes
I want to get a udma CF card and thought that the Extreme IVs were it, but i've noticed that some online shops don't mention anything about udma and even have photos of the card on the page that doesn't have udma written on it.
I've seen other photos of them with udma clearly stated.

Aren't all the IV's supposed to have udma?

Extreme IV's are UDMA but Sandisk used speed rating in their labelling. Newer ones will have UDMA marked on them to avoid confusion.

Just out of interest, what are the differences between a UDMA CF card and a non-UDMA card?

The udma will transfer the camera's buffer a lot faster but only on cameras that support udma.

The ones i know of are the 5d mk2, 50D, 1ds mk3, D3 i think? Probably more that i have no experience of.

Nikon D300,D3,+ D700 also support UDMA

What about the 40d? Probably not

udma isnt supported on the canon 40d. So for that camera SanDisk Extreme III will be as fast as it can cope with...

Not supported on the 40D but it is on the 50D

Yeah, thought as much. I use EXIII's anyway :D
