Sandisk card very sloooooow

I've been using a 2 gig Sandisk Ultra SD card in my GRD for 2 years with no problems.
I bought another one last week, and it takes about 10 seconds just to write a jpeg. It even takes 4 times longer than the old one to format.

Has anyone else had any similar problems with a recent card?
Needless to say I've lost the receipt!!

There are lots of fake Sandisk cards about at the moment where did you buy it?

I bought it from Boots.

Just tried it in my Palm pda, and it shows it as being made by Sandisk, the same as it does for the old card, so it looks genuine. I'll see if there's a Sandisk HQ in this country, and send it to them to look at.
