With the way my life has been it seems I have always picked the path ;) so maybe I would stick with it - old habits die hard :D

you have to think like a psychopath here ...if you were lurking in these woods hoping to pounce on some poor unsuspecting victim ..you would want to hide yourself somewhere which is likely to atract people, so the psychopath would hide out near the bridge ...so logic says the dark path is safer :)

Love the image btw ...very thought provoking

Excellent PP work in #1, but #2 is more to my liking.

I'll take the path, too many Trolls lurk beneath bridges ;)

Hopefully this portrait is breaking the rules of portraiture and still looking good. Head positioned to left of image yet looking to our right. Natural light on face, casting shadow. RHS filled with darkness with a splash of light defining the back of the head.
 
and you're hiding by the bridge???? well definitely the path for me :lol:

Thanks Matt... Maybe I'll see about a mono.. Just thought of retaining that glow from the natural light I was getting... But I'll have a look see..

I can't see your image, although it was here last night....
I liked it...even though it was in colour, and I prefer black and white.... you made good use of the light to cast those 'moody' shadows...
 
I've never had a problem with seeing images on here until the other night, must be an app problem if its happening to others

Aha I've found it now by clicking on the Flickr link - very brooding and nice use of the light.
