Thanks Carl.....the wind turbines are a fair distance of the Norfolk coast viewed from Hunstanton, this being only a selection of them..Hi Frank. I do like the b&w of Entrance; it makes it very dramatic and spooky with those harsh shadows flooding onto the path. As for Size, that would be vast to contain all those wind turbines; the movement of those vanes gives an illusion of dandelion puff balls. Like the colour of the sky.
Frank, like both of these. Entrance think the B&W adds to the photo. Shadows, highlights nice
Turbines, look kinda weird but in a good way
Hello Frank
Rough - superb image, great detail and colour.
Covered - love the B&W, contrast and texture is stunning
Colourful - gorgeous lighting and shades of colour.
Entrance - superb image, love everything about it, very inviting.
Size - fantastic image, perfect.
Thanks all .... I found out those turbines are all the way over at Skegness...and I was in sunny hunny itself...so rather chuffed to get the shot I did considering I was on f45 for 5" and recall propping lens on a telescope on the beach front.. I was hoping the setting sun would come out from a cloud bank..but there was a further bank I couldn't see which it ducked behind ..Ho Frank
Entrance very striking in B&W love the shadows being cast
Size Love the colour of the sky and the fact you have used a long exposure to catch the movement of the blades
Really dk..... little red lights bugs u then...... 0.o ... note to self... more red lights.Hi Frank... love your style of images, entrance is nice lit drive from the gateway, and that offshore windfarm shot is great, love the movement and pastel colour of the sky, you need to go out at night more often love them
(Although, I know you like o'natural images, but that red light does bug me)
Thanks Carl...I found the place after looking through an urban exploration site...and remembered how close it was to me...... kind of say even I'd forgotten about itThat's a wonderfully gritty shot, excellent low POV which accentuates the height and size of the gate and those stones out front. Great looking sky too.
Very abandoned / forgotten feel to that image Mr Bond. Where/what is it?
I do like the slightly dark processing, it adds to the feel of the shot imo.
