My cat sought out a clandestine brotherhood of feline monks, high in the himalayas, to learn this technique..... even now I have to watch where I step....

Really enjoying your 52 so far.

Abandoned - Has a creepy feel to it and the writing really makes the image. Is that white line part of the grafitti?

Camouflage - thought it was wallpaper and a skirting board when I first saw it and couldn't work out where the tail came from. Think I've worked it out now though. Good spot for the theme.

Abandoned is such a brilliant photograph, one I wish I had managed to take. Everything is perfect

Camouflaged is a great image too, superbly done
 
Ok.. I'll admit it... it's a roman blind my cat uses as a sun trap on the front room window sill...took a lot of bribery to get her to lay there.... now if I can get her to stretch a paw out like she does...that'll be a good dangerous photo.. :D
 
Week 07 - Dangerous

The writing on the wall said more than the dark shadows

Really really nice shot, the darkness with protruding light really makes the shot. well done! :)
 
Spooky place ... but a photographers dream in many ways - wouldn't mind spending an hour or two there. Nicely taken Frank - great bit of lighting on that message wall and that peeling paint on the ceiling is terrific. Bravo :clap:
 
Very creepy. Does that say what I think it says on the RH wall?? if it does, and I won't add what I think it say, that really adds to the theme....and is, of course, worrying.

I walked up the stair case to the LHS and thought it said rope....so innocently angled it into the shot as I thought how odd.... took a straight on view...realised what it said....then I heard an eerie noise behind me....
 
Dangerous indeed! Or is that just plain scary? Love the shot. So dark and atmospheric. I've been looking at abandoned buildings around me and worry about access / getting caught by security....such a wimp haha

Ikr.... I'm weary and always looking behind myself... be safe if u do.. I always look for where ppl have been before when venturing upstairs as the last thing I want is to go through a floorboard..

Danger - What a nice find for the theme. I really like the high contrast look, which makes it look even more dangerous than it already is. I also like your composition. I wouldn't know where to start shooting if I were there myself!
 
Camouflage - nicely spotted and taken and definitely on theme. Funky blinds!

Dangerous is fantastic. It has a really menacing, horror-movie style about it. Capture itself and the processing are exceptional and make that image for me. What a cracker!
 
Camouflage - took me a while but I got there in the end. Great cryptic shot.

Dangerous - looks like a film set and the B&W processing really makes the graffiti jump out. Very cool.

I wouldn't be going in there unaccompanied.
 
Hi Frank,

I love this kind of shot for Danger. There are some abandoned gold miners' houses about 1hours drive from here which exude the same kind of spookiness.I've spent many a happy hour exploring there.

I have no crit whatsoever :clap:
 
Pretty scary. Good choice for the topic and I like the high contrast B&W
 
I agree, it does look dangerous. Scary too - lovely moody shot and well done you for finding it and daring to explore!
 
Frank Hi, dangerous is superb, from the lighting to the graffiti. The peeling paint is something that grabs my attention too.
