Thanks Andy. Come the start of may my brain refused to be creative. Writers block equivalent. Tried so hard Tuesday and weds but nothing. Depressing it was after everything I've achieved. Thursday I tried again with a fresh approach. I'm just thankful the mojo returned. And I couldn't let star wars day pass now could I....when I reach 265/6 ... The countdown will begin. Double digits til the end...maybe... Maybe I'll carry on. Perhaps that was another depressing thought..that what lies beyond? Beyond the end. Am I so narcissistic now that to not do a self portrait will be a crime???! Only time..or maybe Mr hippo will tell...and he's so tight lipped ..chance would be a fine thing.

I know that feeling of almost giving up, I promise that there are day's that all us crazy people doing challenges like this this feel that way :( but I'm so pleased that you fought though that wobble  I have to say love the MGM inspired SP brilliant

Or Handy Man
Or Driving Instructor :naughty:

Day 6...hhmmmmm, did you mention narcissistic somewhere ;) Like it. Best thing about it for me, is your eyes, and how they move a little upwards in each frame.

Day 7.... It's often the small, but important things that really add it to a photograph and this has it in spades: the glasses, the wilted flowers and, for me, it's the single upturned collar on your shirt.

Super.

Day 08

Movie Mayhem Wk 02 Pc 01 Day 221 SP 190 by Kev_H, on Flickr

Another Earth

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1549572/

In the grand history of the cosmos, more than thirteen thousand million years old, our Earth is replicated elsewhere. But maybe there is another way of seeing this world. If any small variation arises-they look this way, you look that way-suddenly maybe everything changes and now you begin to wonder, what else is different? Well, one might say that you have an exact mirror image that is suddenly shattered and there's a new reality. And therein lies the opportunity and the mystery. What else? What new? What now?

Of the recent posts X-Men really stands out: simple and very effective with great menacing facial expression.

Another Earth is good, I am drawn to the light part on the right edge of the earth...come on, it can't be all positive :D

Cheers...

Thanks Andy. Wolverine is one of my favorites... Those blades left me sore for days after...

As for another earth. I think flickr processing emphasised the edge more... But I know what you mean.

Kev, without blowing smoke up your ar*e there are crackers. Day 12 is the weakest for a long time but the last 3.....

The man With Two Brains...loving the PPing to your chin...:D

And, come on, if you're going to do Borat I demand a mankini :exit::exit::exit:

I admit field of dreams could have been better.... But without corn fields or a baseball diamond....please... What was I to do??? :D

Borat does equal mankini.... But a restraining order by fhm and playboy prohibits me exposing this bod to the world...they saw the test shots and immediately rubber stamped them as banned and to be buried in concrete...

But thanks for the last three.... The man with two brains was only two shots. I was chuffed as expected a lot more.

Still wondering how to do the bed scene in the crime boss' house from adventures of a plumbers mate....I need a woman.... Though my personal life is another thing... :D

Loving secret window, I'm intrigued as to how that one was lit  but it works very well

Matt

thanks matt..

this was shot in daylight, but with a shutter speed of about 1/250 f5.6 to get the frame lit and to sync with flash, the flash inside was bounced off a big silver sided reflector. i admit i darkened the background by bringing down the exposure. flash is usually set to 1/16 or 1/8, probably the later

Loving the last few, it's also proving fun to try and guess the movie from the the photo  and on the whole I'm not doing good but that mainly seems to be the darker subject matter of the films featured and my inherent desire to not watch that genre :bang: though I do get some of them
