Thanks Martin...I must admit I like to have something that I can hold on my hands and feel the texture and smell the aroma of......books too..... kindles just seem so sterile...

Thanks Michael. I went for simple..lamp books glasses... I was tempted to have the whole series in the shot... But overkill that would be.

Just a small reminder, no point leaving this shot til the very day :thumbs: .. wear it with pride

..it might have done with a poppy outside of the box, but when i did attempt it in one setup, it felt wrong (as if some one had left discarded one! :eek: )

but thanks anyway :thumbs: ... doing self portraits is going to strecth my imagination and maybe even my creativity somehow because i don't want to just stand in front of a camera and have 30 shots all the same except for a hairier boat race :shrug:


..now where's that deck chair... i think a shot that includes knees is in order? that should wake up the neighbours

..self portraits are improving (i hope) .. lighting etc... but its addictive... who was it said.. what if the light was coming from over here.. or put a reflector there.. :thumbs:

Just testing out the old homemade light box, though i am more a pepsi max chap. the shadow is intentional to give the sense of a floor, opposed to floating cans... because that might mean too much cooking sherry..and its only Tuesday

I may have to do a self portraite like this for my Equity card.
Did I mention I'm now a member?
It followed a chance encounter with an Equity member in Derbyshire not so long back. He has his own show that I now start in!! It's a spin off from Eurotrash, but the focus is on Derbyshire. :cuckoo:

MaIson de blue are doing a good so far. But still early days... And not enough to prompt innuendos ... I'll have to hunt around for some good wood....shots.

..what do you know... i DID get two tickets... but the bunny girl at the local gentlemans club has never been to South America...so she hopped in the crate with me :naughty:

..anyway...from what i hear Tezz is gentle, but firm... :shrug: ... and when she get the tar and feathers out...well least your head won't hurt
