I was down the Academy showing the new recruits how to put the boot in whilst questioning a new suspect, when the Inspector called me into her office and gave me a thorough dressing down.... just then the call came in...

Neighbours had reported the victim missing some days ago, but uniform had only just gotten suspicious when the property of the accused had undergone extensive alterations to the landscaping.... A dawn raid led to a whole arsenal of weapons being confiscated and a man hunt ensued.

"So lads.....why'd do it then...think she had buried treasure in her pot...?" ..My opening line wasn't the best, but the two of them were quaking in their boots...

Can you guess the kids tv show?

I was flicking through the Adult Fiction section of the local library, checking out the broad behind the desk....she'd been slipping extra books under the counter.... when the call came in.

Whoever did it, knew how to seal a can tight. The victim had crushed that can til his muscles burst.... he'd even made a makeshift welding torch out of an old pipe, to slice open the lid to no avail....

Guess the kids TV show?

I'd been working undercover as a french maid in a classy hotel servicing rich clients in order to discover the killer on the 13th floor.... when the call came in...

The MO was the same all the others... The oven had been closed. The gas was on and lit. Each time the kitchen was occupied.....And yet somehow the lasagne dish is emptied and polished clean...

Can you guess the Kids TV show?

Thanks Matt.... I guess that's the flip side to the colour and glam that is kids tv ... And adding a blend of csi meets bogart ..

My assistant had gone awol for the evening, so I spent most it down the local beat club listening to the latest sounds and drinking smoothies with pink umbrellas....when the call came in..

The cat had been through the wars, but no dog tags nor answering to the name Bernard meant uniform hadn't got close to taking her home...She must be someone cat..?

I'd stared at them for hours. Who wouldn't want this gift bestowed upon them. But with great power comes great responsibility... Violence and abuse solves nothing...And I'll think before drawing my gun next time..

I'd been chasing the Roller Coaster killer, me in car 4 him in car 2. It was proving difficult as each time we went through the tunnel, we mysteriously changed seats.... when the call came in...

One Art Gallery destroyed, priceless painting either ripped to shreds, burnt beyond recognition or simply jam smeared across them... An Ice Cream van driven into a swimming pool... A whole tower block flooded by multiple paint bombs......SO what have you got to say for yourself ...YOU 'ORRIBLE 'ITTLE BEAR!!!

Cheers dk.... Flickr has had the effect of darkening some of my shots .. Though it mostly seems to add atmosphere

I'd spent the last five days on stakeout watching an Esker's 'Relativity' for an Art thief who'd gone into hiding through one of the arches...when the call came in...

...I was just going over the evidence when something niggled me like a 45 in the chest. The little monkey was desperately pleading guilty of the theft to the custody sergeant...but all the gear was worthless anyway....we couldn't press any charges..

when it's done as well as you've done it Kev, I think it's hard not to like it, and that comes from the mouth of someone that's not a real lover of it ;)
