samsung nx300 anyone own one or tried one?

It's a reasonable camera - great design, average performance, good sensor and one of the best interfaces of any camera company. The lenses are all fantastic but that's where the problem is, imo, finding lenses for a reasonable price. Back when I had an NX I had to import lenses from Hungary and accessories from S Korea - which isn't as reassuring as buying from Amazon. If something goes wrong with the camera, it's very difficult to get online support, the only forum with any Samsung users is DPReview and... erm that's not really a forum you want to use. If you're content with using a kit lens and never really upgrading it, then its a safe bet.

I have one and have updated through the NX100 & NX1000.

I'm really enjoying the 300. It's a significant step up in speed and touchscreen interface.

I'd highly recommend it if it's the type of CSC you're after.

Took delivery of this at begining of the week. Really pleased with the build quality. Getting used to size and no evf is an experience (used to canon 5dmk3) quite a good selection of lenses although could do with some more reach. Battery life seems adequate although be nice if someone brought out a grip. No problems viewing the crisp screen in different light. Smart modes are good fun to play with. So much easier to take around than my bigger camera. So quite satisfied with it at the minute.
