Yes
I'm looking for an app to record all voice calls (both sides) on a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, I've downloaded and tried a few but with little success.

Does anyone on here use or know of a reliable app which is compatible with this phone.

Why do you need such an app?

If your asking about this, remember to look at the law surrounding this area.

I know a lot of apps will beep to let the other person know the conversation is being recorded. It is doable though, but as I said, dodgy ground unless you like recording conversations purely for personal use? As you cannot share them with anyone else unless the other person consents, or risk them taking you to court.

Exceptions if you are doing it as a business but strict rules still apply. I'm guessing you would have posted in 'Talk Business' if this was the case.

To record details, instructions etc. given by clients (mostly solicitors) while I'm driving or otherwise engaged and unable to take written notes.

Yes I'm aware of the legal requirements.

That wouldn't concern me.

Purely for business use.

I have no intention of sharing the recordings with anyone.

I had considered posting in 'Talk Business' but thought I may get a better response from this section.

It isn't quite as draconian as you are making out, and missed off an important bit, the recordings would be usable if the other person consents or is made aware the call is being recorded.

The BBC explained all the facts quite well

Alan, a quick google shows at least 4 call recorder apps with more than 4/5 ratings.

Thanks Dave, I've tried a number of those without success. It seem that the mini version of the GS3 requires a firmware modification (to the root directory I think).

Seems it may not be as simple as I thought :(

Good to hear, I read your post with a dubious mindset. Easy to forget not everyone is up to no good.

If your driving have you considered a dictaphone? Provided your doing it (the phone calls when driving) via the speakers rather than headset? Maybe easier to activate whilst busy.

Made aware of / consents to it being recorded. It's what I meant.
