hope this is in the right place.......

has anyone had the same problems as me with their s2...i cannot get access to my email's, it's done this several times now, if i eventually manage to set up the email account, it only last's for a very short while and then goes again...and i get incorrect username or password ??
also i dont know if this is the phone itself, but i've also recieved the odd bill for sending pics on my phone, when infact i've sent a longer than average text message ??
can anyone help.....cheer's guy's :help::help:
 
If you go to text message settings you can change the maximum length of a text, after you hit this limit it changes the message to data as opposed to sms, this is the likely cause of the charge for picture.

Email can't help sorry
 
I could never get the standard email app to work properly so now I use K9, works well :thumbs:

If you send a long SMS it automatically changes it to a MMS, I think it's a standard android thing :shrug:
 
I have the stock email working on my O2 although I had to change my blueyonder account from POP3 to IMAP and it has been fine ever since.
 
As above I use K9 as it's much better than the stock app
 
if you use "go sms" free on the play store you can send txts that are as long as you like. Not sure about the email app as ive never had any issues with it
 
I set up a google account just for the phone and then set up email forwarding from my virgin account -works find.
BTW I always found setting up email a/cs on phones a pita,could never get them to work properly
