I'm being offered this as a replacement for a faulty SE C905.

Whats the touch screen like, anything like the iPhone?

Thoughts on the phone in general, ease of use - is android any good?

Hi,
I was thinking about Galaxy as it has Android on board. But eventually I went for Hero ( with android as well)
Should be great phone and Ive heard screen is amazing.
Bear in mind that your old SE has better camera ( at least I think so)

Spec-wise, it's very, very similar to the HTC Hero, with the bonus of a half decent camera. Unfortunately, at the point I was offered the very same phone, I had my heart set on the hero and knocked it back. I think if I was asked again, it'd be a 50/50 call - i'd get it!!

Android is good, not quite iPhone slick, but as they keep rolling out the updates, I think it will surpass Apple on the basic functions, though you'll never get past Apples compatibility brilliance. You can get all the usual apps for an Android phone (Spirit level etc) so you'll still be able to show off down the pub and that!!
