Just got one of these, and they are totally rubbish, worse bit of tech I have bought for a long time, back to the iPad,

If your looking to buy one don't

Probably a better device, but worse apps.

It got good reviews when it was released and still has a high reevoo score but it is 18 month old tech and has been surpassed by many other tablets, As Adrian and Paul say though, some reasons for your opinion would be helpful.

The biggest flaw is the touch screen, typing is horrible, it seems so unresponsive, it's just miles off the ipad in the form of slickness.

Is it the original Galaxy Tab or the Tab 2? I've just got the 7" Tab 2 running ICS and there's nothing wrong with the responsiveness at all

I've just bought a Tab 2 7" (£ 120) and whilst I've decided I mostly prefer IOS, and syncing with a Mac is a chore, the rest of the device is a perfectly reasonable device and no complaints here.

It's the new note 10.1, just had another play before it becomes a coaster, still not good compared to the ipad, it's almost like it need calibrating, it could of course be broken !

Will use it as a remote monitor for the new 6d when it's released.

I get on great with my 10.1 tab2. No problem typing and great for showing off some of my work, and it runs flash.

Posted using my samsung tab.

Interesting as I just got rid of my iPad 3 which I thought was rubbish and got an android tablet which is working out great.

Where did you manage to get one for £120?

Car phone warehouse. I paid 149 for the 8gb 7" and you can claim £30 cash back and a free 8gb memory card from Samsung. Bargain :)

I going to go and have a play with one tomorrow hopefully

Just clarify, I meant how do you find using the 7" tab

Lol. Sorry, get you now :)

At first they look really small as far as tablets go, but you soon get used to the size. Really comfy to hold in one hand.

Not been able to prize it off the kids or the wife long enough to have a good go yet though.

Yes, Carphone Warehouse - £ 148 less £ 30 cashback from Samsung.

However, John Lewis is going them for £ 158 but you get 2 years warranty which may be worth considering for the extra tenner.

You get 2 years standard off of Samsung anyway

I think Tesco have the 10.1 cheap at the moment if you wanted the bigger one.

Have the Samsung tab 10.1 myself, had iPad2 before hand, I'd say you've a wrong un, I find the Samsung's screen's very responsive when typing or any other usage .

Had a play with a Samsung tab2 7 inch today and the responsiveness of the screen was pants to say the least

It was taking 2 to 3 taps to get apps to open or do anything, swipes just not happening on first swipe - not impressed at all

I note from a Google search these complaints crop up again and again so I am not alone n my experience

I must have got a good one then, because I can honestly say mine behaves nothing like that.

I started off with the Galaxy 10.1 couldn't get the Keis software to work or images to download properly so returned it to John Lewis for an iPad 2 and what a joy to use - never looked back
2 year warranty with JL as well
