I planning on getting some samples printed to show examples of the differant products I offer (and show how great photos can look in print rather than on a screen!). I'm thinking canvas, acrylic, framed etc.

I like the idea of my branding on the samples, but equally don't what people to think that their finished product would have my watermark.

This is the type of thing I am talking about BTW:

What have others done in this situation?

Thanks!

All my samples are as they come. I don't need to 'brand' as they are looking at them at my place, so they know they are mine. :)

However if I was to hang them in a shop or somewhere else I would brand them :)

If punters are going to have the samples (? proofs ?) sent to them, I would watermark them but make it clear that bought prints wouldn't be watermarked.

Hi, All of my sample images (Proofs) etc sent to clients are watermarked however presented ie PDF, DVD, Contact Sheets etc with a covering letter explaining that any finished paid for images would be free of any watermarking.

Samples viewed on our premises or just to show clients our work ie our portfolio and not left with them are not watermarked. Hope this helps.

Thanks chaps, advice taken!

These will only be shown to people at mine, so I'll get produced without branding.
