Safelight tubes

Can anyone recommend a supplier for safelight tubes? I've got to flourescent fittings in my garage so one of them can be used as a safelight. It's got to be an improve over the dim little Patterson lamp I've got at the minute.

I found some in Silverprints, but they do seem expensive

Bejesus you're not kidding they're expensive are you! I could have two of those LED safelights for the price of one of those tubes. Back to the drawing board me thinks.

There was something on APUG about making a safelight using red fluoro tubes and some theatrical gels. The bloke seemed to have had a certain measure of success...
