Evening all,

After candlestick junior decided that it would be a good idea to test the so called splash proofing on my 6 month old hp probook 4530s, and having replaced the keyboard successfully, I now need to fork out for a new hard drive as the old one didn't run on ribena apparently!?

As I'm resigned to buying a new drive, I'm firmly set on ssd technology for the replacement, but after numerous searches, I can't figure out which drives are suitable in terms of size, sata specs etc....

Can anybody help me decipher the gobbledygook, and point me towards a 250 gb drive that would be suitable, below the £150 mark?

Thanks in advance, Stuart

The title should read ssd of course....stupid phone!?

Check the SanDisk Extreme 250GB out too - cheaper than the Samsung 830/840 256's.

Thanks for all the recommendations - went for the SanDisk variant in the end. It fitted fine, and has taken the Windows experience disk rating from 5.9 to 7.9!?
