another sad event, how many more of these older aircraft will be forced to fly, it makes you wounder how old the jet is your leaving on for your summer hols, when we looked after chernobyl children to give them a rest bite from all the radiation form the disaster they where flying over in toupalov < spelling) airliners which where 30 years old, landing at gatwick, makes you shudder, anyway anyone traveling by plane have a look at this link they keep saying it's safer to fly, thats correct, it's the take off and landings that are the problem thats when if somthings gonna happen it will .

D'oh that will teach me for not looking at newspapers or the news wont it ! Didnt realise there had been one in Madrid :(

Flying is still very safe, the only reason airliners make the news is because of the number of injuries/deaths that can be invovled, there arent that many incidents and reading about all of them will just make people never fly again ?
