English driver is in a coma and critical condition after being hit in the head by crash debris yesterday. I hope he pulls through. Always a really likable guy.
 
Report I read said he was hit on the head by a nose cone. He's not had much luck lately, had a back brace on in 2011 as he broke a bone in his back, broke his pelvis in 2013. Hopefully he'll pull through, they are incredibly fit.
 
Just watched the footage, really unfortunate incident. Hope he pulls through.
 
This may be another incident that pushes the argument for closed cockpits, they have already covered the rear wheels to try and prevent the cars becoming airborne but the head remains vulnerable.
