Nope, I've seen ones with a lot less actuations floating around for a lot less than that.
 
there's one in classifieds on here around that money atm :) Wouldn't want one with 95k clicks though...

at their very cheapest, they got down to £420 brand new, sale value is now higher than that for a well used one though.
 
Superb camera - shame Fuji didn't carry on with that sensor - still the leader in dynamic range.

Looking at the HS-10 thread seems like Fuji have abandoned their old sensor and gone for of-the-shelf mankiness. Shame.

I too have noticed the prices for S5s&S3s have gone up and up since they discontinued them..due to sheer demand for them..I have been considering parting with one of mine ..but what is there out there to beat the colors and dynamic range they produce ?????

If it was "selling" for that price, it'd say "Sold!", not "Buy it now".

Just because something goes up on eBay with a particular price tag does not necessarily mean it will sell. But eBay is a seller's market. There's a lot of idiots on there that simply don't know any better.
