Hi, I am a complete beginer in MF so, please, excuse my simple question. I have just acquired a Mamiya RZ67 pro II without lens. When testing it I am unable to get the shutter working in the normal testing mode. It only works in Manual mode.
I have done all the steps according to manual: 1)Rotate the Release Button Collar until the white dot on it is aligned with the one immediately below (on the Collar Stop Lever). 2)Remove the Dark Slide. 3) Set the R-M Lever to the "M" (multiple exposure) position.4) Set the shutter speed dial to any speed except "AEF" and "RBL".5)Push the Cocking Lever all the way down. 6)Press the Shutter Release Button.
when I finally press the shutter I get 3 beeps and orange light in viewfinder below the cocking lever symbol and nothing else. I hope it is because I have no lens attached. Would appreciate if someone explained the matter to me. Thank you Ed
