RZ67 Lens help

Just received my RZ67, other than realising that I'm going to need to start a weight lifting routine I've found an issue with the lens.



What is this? Is it killer or will it not be an issue?
It doesn't look like fungus, maybe some sort of lens separation? I'm no expert though!

Any help is appreciated

I don't see that on any of mine…
I've never see that… but I admit
it increase my natural paranoia!

Looks like the lens was exposed to heat and
this may be some oil or grease or else?
…but I'm purely guessing here.

I'd same the same at a first guess, best to send it back as the lens would have to be well stopped down to prevent any effect on your shots

Yep that looks like séparation to me.

Oh man, so annoying
So it will definitely affect the image quality? The eBay return process begins it seems, I wonder if he'll just take the lens... Fallen in love with the camera itself!

Wide open it would probably affect the image but stopped down a lot less.....but it could get worse so complain and the seller my say "keep the lens" and give you some money back.
