Rye Harbour in winter

Has anyone been here to photograph over wintering geese? (Alternate sites in Kent,Sussex etc would be good to hear about).

I used to live in Winchelsea Beach and Rye Harbour is a great place to photograph wintering Geese. Wrap up warm though and check the opening times of the visitor centre as they do great coffee etc

I forgot to ask what is best low or high tide?

Low tide would be the better option I'd say
