No
so the 39th Ryder cup is almost upon us...

Who do you think will lift the trophy?

I am going to start off by being controversial and go for USA 15 1/2 Europe 12 1/2. (12/1 odds)

I really think the home advantage and the partisan crowd will help them this time around...

Of course though, I will be cheering Europe..

Put a bet on this morning to that exact odds :-)

yep had a cheeky £5 on it!

Just set hd box to record the highlights on the beep (better than nowt i suppose)

Who's your pick for top Player?

I'm going for Rory or G-mac

Europe..... G Mac or Poulter....... I think Olazabal has missed a trick not having both of the miller bothers in, as they are as tight as anything in 4somes, 4balls.

USA .... Phillis Mick

15-13 in favour of europe. I think it's time for Westy to shine. European pick of the tournament, i would have to go for Donald because of his putting.

Will the American WAGs be doing their green invasion trick on the 18th green this year? Not a gambling man but I reckon the Americans will take it by a couple of points, although I will be rooting for Europe.

Nod (not a golfer but considering taking it up now I'm well again).

Europe alll the way

Anyone see Tiger's tee shot!!! Miles left

Stuck in work, using twitter and the BBC feed to keep up to date.

Nothing is getting done.......nothing.

Feeling sorry for Steve Stricker partnering Woods.the great man is way out of sorts

Tiger has no idea where his tee shots are going. Davis Love must have removed the rough just for him.

Yanks are hitting birdies for fun it's relentless

hmm 5 -3 on day one... Yanks were birdies for fun. My 15 1/2 12/1/2 is looking optimistic...

Big day today. If the Yanks come out of it with a lead it's all over.

Well, yesterdays play certainly scuppered my thoughts.

Some great golf played and the atmosphere is fantastic, I wish I was there.

Me too I'd love to see Europe win but the golf the yanks are playing is tremendous.
Tigers been dropped so no free points today

Colsaerts quote will go down in history....

'"there are no tools you can use out there - you have to go with what's in your pants"

How many more putts can we miss

How many more putts can we miss

It's costing us badly, we seem to have a complete team on very average form, at this rate we'll maybe win 1 singles tomorrow as Tiger is playing very poorly

Its getting so disheartening iam considering watching the x factor

We are crap at golfisting. I am reconsidering my original bet as that now seems optimistic, given our "Sunday history"

Some good golf played by the Euros at last but I feel it is in vain.

Europe are Doomed!!!!

Private Fraser.....go to your room!

Any one noticed the sexual 'Carry on' style remarks the europeans are making in the TV interviews.....

We can only play better, get a few points on the board then they might well start to feel a bit edgy.....all on the last match?... Would take that and would take Molinari to bring Tiger down

C'mon

Surely not, surely we cannot get this back...............

Seems to be a turn around from yesterday, we're getting the putts and them missing, keep going at this rate and it'll be a close one :)

No, and i`m not one of the sensitive souls who will take any notice Tom...............:D

I`m going out to watch the end of this.................

It's squeaky bum time
