[rant on] The bestest team challenge is on this weekend at the K Club in Ireland
Anyone with Sky sports will already be sick to the back teeth as every aspect of the "build up" is discussed to the nth degree (what sort of toilet paper is the American Team using? Will it help them beat Europe? yadda yadda yadda ...)
Don't get me wrong I am a golfer & love The Ryder Cup but is it me or is there anyone else who wants to punch the American Captain Tom Lehman in the face every time he says "Oirland" in a really fake "Darby O'Gill" Irish accent - next he'll be talking about the "crack" & asking for a pint of "the black stuff" ....
Let's hope the Euros wipe the floor with them [/rant off]

As another golfer this is the highlight of the sporting year for me, I can't wait for it to start.

The European team seem to come into their own when playing in the Matchplay format, something the septics don't seem to be as good at.
