Ryan Giggs named in Parliament!

That looks to me like he's enjoying winning the 19th trophy and celebrating with his kids, I don't see how he's in any way portraying himself as a role model there

Agreed - there were tons of kids on the pitch with their dads - nothing new and certainly not unique to Giggs.

Great to see him playing tonight and creating a goal for Rooney.

Oh yes she did, my mate on The Sun, tells me everything.......£100k was the figure she was offerred not what she asked for.

That's not my understanding of what the court papers say. She asked Giggs for 50K to keep her mouth shut, I'm guessing things ended badly between them (and every man knows that hell has no fury like a woman scorned). In hindsight that would have been a steal compared to the money he has wasted on lawyers.

He tried to fob her off the some tickets to a game and a signed shirt, obviously cheaper and easier to hide from the wife than a cheque for £50k.

She then asked him for £100k and he decided lawyers would be cheaper:lol:

What a load of guff. Some people have drive and ambition. They want to be the best at what they do.

Then they need to accept the upsides and downsides of the job and not just hope for the good bits.

he must have been living in a dream world to think that he could really keep the story shut down by injunction

imo he'd have been better off coming clean with the wife and taking it like a man.

course he'd have been even better off he'd just kept a padlock on his zip in the first place

He probably knew full well the story would break at some point, perhaps he just wanted to delay the publication so he could come clean to his wife before she read it in a paper and saw it all over TV. For all we know it could have served its purpose perfectly well for Giggs...who knows!

We have crossed ired slightly.....I mean the Sun offered her 100k for the story.

Any way, why should she get 50k off Giggs just for keeping her mouth shut.....isn't it a kind of prostitution? And if she did love him, why can't she just walk away with dignity and say 'Ah well, it wasn't to be'?

whether she tried to bribe him or sell her story, the plan got backfired and she got burned, tough luck i say. She went out of her way to be malicious or make money out of someone else and it didnt work. As i said earlier if you are a married celebrity you need to avoid having affairs with non famous members of the public or z list celebs because they are the worst nightmare you could possibly face. Big brother contestants probably are worse than anyone else simply because they are talentless losers who crave media attention and money. I have no sympathy for the woman, i know a few womwn like her who think the world owes them everything and they are the best thing since sliced bread, however in the end they lose family and friends because their corrosive personalities get the better of them.

Who says she was the one to try and sell out?
Who says she just wanted to move on and the media frenzy forced her into the public?

What I'm saying is none of us know what's gone on, and none of us will ever know...despite what we've been told by second, third, fourth or whatever hand by a mate of the man who clean's Man U's bogs. :p
There are two sides to every story and yes, she offered her jar...he still chose to put his pickle in it. Two grown adults....

This furore just goes to show what a pathetic state this county and the media is in. When people would rather read who a man who kicks a bag of wind around a pitch played hide the pickle with...Rather than maybe what went on when the leader of the free world visited our country for discussions, what they talked about.

You know, things that actually matter. :)

Finally, something sensible! And from Marcel of all people :p

But this is what the super injunctions are trying to do....keep the gossip out of the news so us decent folk can read/watch about serious stuff.....

Freedom of the press does not mean good press.....a lot of the time it means gutter press.

Well its obviously got something to do with her because giggs had no intention of making a public claim about it, the story was all centrered around her when this came out all until his name was released in parlement, at the end of the day she could have easily have said "no nothing happened with anyone, you have it all wrong." but if she had the chance she would have squeeled like a piggy on a spit if there was no red tape preventing her from doing so.

Although I believe it takes 2 footballers to spit roast anything (and from what little I remember, she's far from being a piggy!)

Dear friends if I am caught shagging a super model, or a "stunning" celeb.
please tell everyone you know, I promise not to get up-set :D

I think the big businesses who hide behind super injunctions will be very happy that this Giggs affair is the perceived face of them.

It's not all about footballers who can't keep it in their pants. While that is all the red tops care about, sorting out super injunctions being used by big business should be a priority for all the press.
