To ba fair, Russia weren't shooting at Iran. They were shooting at Syria but missed... Hell, even Mrs Nod could hit a sodding country!

Meddling in the Middle East takes an intelligence not coloured by politics, unfortunately we're not that bright. :(

Those of us who didn't back the 2nd Iraq war were a small minority, seen to be Lilly livered and unpatriotic, it's amazing how it's become such a popular view with hindsight. :p

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Who knows what would have panned out. Saddams son Uday was a total nutter and had he taken over in time it could be far worse. While I was for the war I do admit that it could well have been better had we not gone in there.
