went to see rush at the lg yesterday, what an amazing band, so loud and fairly heavy as well.
just getting my hearing back:lol:
a lot of the younger tpers will be thing who,

Great band and they play some fairly intricate stuff with bonkers time changes - not everybody's cup of tea and certainly long in the tooth but when they click they take some beating.
 
I have no words. Except YEEEAAHH!! Looked at a few youtube vids to remind me that I saw them live. I'm not so sure, my freind assures me twas. It was a bit back. I may not have been quite myself in those days ;)
 
Saw them at Sheffield last week - great great evening as usual with the 3 hour set. Fingers crossed they are still around in 3 years time for their 40th anniversary tour. Moving Pictures was brill!!
 
I'll be at the O2 tomorrow to see them for the first time in 30 years. My two sons 20 and 14 will be with me, it will be their first time, but they know quite a bit of Rush thanks to me, so we're all looking forward to it. 7:30 tomorrow night just won't come round quick enough.
 
saw them at the NEC on the roll the bones tour, Neil Peart was amazing.
 
They certainly haven't lost their touch. My ears are still ringing, but it was well worth it. My sons loved it too but I fear I may have started them with the best and any future bands they see may fail in comparison. My 14yr old son was still buzzing when we got home at 12:15 this morning. :)
