Tomorrow I am running away - just for one night - I just want to spend some time on my own.

I'm in South Yorkshire, dont want to go TOO far [maybe 1hr - 1.5hrs drive ish] in ANY direction and pick out a hotel [which im looking at NOW] Then possibly spend sunday togging....


Any ideas where I can run away to?!

How about Scarborough? I can recommend a *great pub with country and western karaoke.

* when I say great, I mean unnervingly "local".

Decided on west yorkshire, not too far away.....booked a hotel at Clarence dock, Lovely :D




Decided to go away as over the last few weeks I have lost my nan to terminal cancer, that we didnt know about [i know its surprising!] and living with my parents means I'm currently feeling suffocated...So I'm "running away" for one night - even if its only leeds. LOL
 
I'm sorry to hear about your nan - take a well deserved break!
