Yes
well. I was playing with one of my pictures of mow cop castle the other day whislt having a conversation with one of my work colleagues.

the end of it was, she wanted to see it with a sunrise / sunset type sky, so (as you do) I found another of my pics and stole the sky, did all the usual and produced a pic. Now she wants to buy a copy of it (great news, always gives you a buzz)

but now she has decided instead of going for one big print (we originally talked about 30 x 20) she wants 2 16 x 12s instead, but of course 2 of the same ruin wont look right.

So, and this is a bit embaressing seeing as I live in stoke on trent, does any body know of any decent ruins in or around Staffordshire.

I should know myself really, but ....

any advice apreciated.

nice one, thanks gary

I know Gary has mentioned it above but there's some great ruins/old buildings at Biddulph Grange which can't be too far from you depending on what side of Stoke on Trent you're on. Or how about a shot of some bottle kilns like at Gladstone Pottery, not exactly ruins I know but evocative of the area maybe :)

dont think she would like kilns, we work in an antique ceramics shop lol

Alton Towers ( bit busy though . . . :) )
Errwood Hall
