Rugged Hard Drive

If you ever have the chance to open one of those rugged lacie drives its comedy.


That said I've got one in my work bag and its okay. Not a big fan of LaCie though, had several failures at work.

Thanks all, will order 1 each of the transcend and freecom from amazon.

Daugirdas - dont really want the expense of an ssd, especially as the drive will be a mirror of another drive kept at home, so the data could be lost with little penalty.

I've had a couple of these fail on me too, I think WD do a sort of rugged HD. I buy enclosures, add my own drives and get a decent hard case these days :)
