Since Leeds Rhinos stomped all over St Helens to win the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford last night :D, And I believe over in t'Union England apparently beat France I thought I'd ask...

League or Union? :D

For me it's league all the way :D

Ever since I was a wee nipper selling cars (ok maybe I wasn't quite so young.. or quite so wee) and the dealership I worked at supplied the Rhinos players with their cars I've been a huge fan (not because I used to get free tickets and free invites to functions... honest!)

The only downside to last night was that I spent nearly 4 hours in the A&E dept with my daughter so missed the 2nd half of the Rhinos game :(

She's fine by the way - she took a nasty fall and lost consciousness briefly but they gave her the all clear eventually.

As a rule of thumb:

Northerners: League
Southerners: Union

As a southerner born and raised, living in Gloucester for the vast majority of my life. I would have to say union. I was pretty delighted with Leeds though. I hate those Stelens.

neither game is particularly "wussy"

Union for me, but I have found League more predictable regarding photography !!

(waits to get shot down in flames)

League is the one for me. More challenging.

Leeds were superb last night and Saints were'nt at the races.

Union seems to be kick, catch, kick, catch, scrum for 5 mins ruck for another 5 mins etc. :cuckoo:

I think union is a much more technical game, where as league relies heavily on physical talent, with a lot more emphasis on running and tackling. Which is why a lot of players have been quite poor (Farrel, Henry Paul) when coming to rugby union. Im sure for the same reason there are people in rugby union who would not be able to hack it in league.

league all the way, Cas fan so not happy with leeds winning :P but glad to be back up and having a go at beating you.
Union you spend 5 minutes getting the ball then when you do you kick it straight back whats with that?

Union for me as have grown up in a Union club, husband plays, Dad was President, I was Social Secretary and now club photographer. Although when I lived in Leeds, did go and watch the Rhinos when they played at home and still have my Rhinos shirt somewhere

Same as wgdbradley, lived in Gloucester most of my life so was fed a diet of Union at secondary school, now living in Grimsby I follow League a bit more than I used to.

Union is still waaaayyy better than league..
