Rugby World cup 2015 thread

..on a more serious note: is anyone capable of playing rugby to the same standard as the AB's let alone beat them? it was like champagne rugby in the end? prior to KO the general opinion in the pub was a NZ win by as many as 10pts, chuff me it ends up nearly 50! PSA will no doubts be shown the back door, and if we are being honest, he should have gone after the 6N.

The Saffers were there for the taking, but we blew it,although not as often as Wayne Barnes blew his whistle, some of his decisions were a bit border line, yet we did'nt have the brains to play the referee. All in all 2 great games of rugby I thought.

Not sure....maybe the Aussies. I'd be surprised if we don't see them in the final.

I think the AB away from home may come into things yet. And SA may surprise them yet

Stunning start for Argentina! I think O'Connell needs to give the half time team talk - look out for a different Irish team secon d half <hoping>.

And Ireland have just scored a try - come on ..................
AL

Game over...Ireland has played really poorly....I an off for a Guinness now....it was good while it lasted

I don't see Ireland winning now, barring a miracle..

A below par Ireland failing against an inspired Argentina

I wonder what odds you'd have got, before the tournament started, of Scotland being the only Northern hemisphere side left in it?

Long odds I would guess.

And now Scotland have to beat the Aussies to maintain the pride of the Northern hemisphere sides.

I think last weeks game, against France, took it's toll on Ireland. Looked a very tired team. But fair play to Argentina, they had a blistering start, which ultimately won them the game.

I don't see Scotland within 15 of the Wallabies.....hope I'm wrong though.

Nor me.

Is it wrong I'm thinking if Scotland lose then the piper who has been outside my window every blinking match may go home? I suppose at least he knows 3 songs which is an improvement on most pipers

£90 they were selling cat a tickets for before the match. Looks like one of the best matches of the tournament too

Vern Cotter seemed trying very hard not to breakdown on TV just now. Cant blame him

An Englishman, a Welshman and an Irishman have just been joined in the pub by a Scot.
