Being rude - taking a swipe - stabbing away.. STOP IT, it makes quite interesting threads unreadable

We all have an opinion, right or wrong we need to grow up and respect others

I have no interest if somone didnt reply or respond to somone about something 12 posts ago. Boring, not about photography or business, doesnt make the world go round
 
Personally it does not bother me when people are rude.

I work part time in a large retail store so I'm used to it lol.

When peeps are rude in the shop I put on my cheery mode and it really winds them up more.

Richard, fair point. It does become annoying, though I can understand people who retaliate to a needlessly rude/patronising post.

I think he means forum rudeness, which is often a bit gay.

Ah - but you say that, I bought two things that weren't on the shelf and I asked and was told, actually, yes we have some out the back, they just haven't been out yet :p :D

I think Richard was making a plea for the amount of rudeness to be reduced.

In recent weeks, certainly around the "no DSLRs" thread in business and since, there has been an increase in the pointed sniping back and forth in threads.

It's an inevitable consequense of folks quickly reading something, making an interpretation and then posting. With the absence of the context of the posters' remarks the interpretation is often wrong.

I reckon that everyone should read their post through at least once before submitting, just to check that it can't be interpreted in an angry way :) (it might also improve the chronically bad spelling and punctuation that seems on the increase too :D).

More being nice can't be a bad thing.

Seriously, very valid point. There have been some threads of late that I'm sure lead me to draw some (possibly incorrect) conclusions about members here based on their overly arguementative nature.

If its any consolation, there is a small group that we are on the verge of dishing suspensions out to. Im sure that we can identify who they are
