Rude people!

P.S. Anyone know where I can find a good shrink :cuckoo:

"P.S. Anyone know where I can find a good shrink... PLEASE!" :D

Next to the couscous, I reckon!

I popped into Tesco yesterday on the way home from work. I was wearing a blue shirt that apparently is very similar to the staff ones.

As I was stood chatting to a lad who works there, when this woman walks up.

Her “where’s the Couscous?”

Me “do you mean, where is the Couscous please?”

Her “don’t be so cheeky to me or I’ll report you to the store manager”

Me “crack on you silly cow, I don’t work here” :naughty:

She stormed off with a red face & looked for her own chuffin Couscous

The store worker was trying his best not to laugh out loud & said “I wish we could get away with that!” :rules:

Anyone else been mistaken for staff in a store or other workplace?

Mick

For what its worth, this is one of the most funniest threads i've read today :naughty: I would pay up to £10 pound to see this happen again in real life. She was rude, chose the wrong person to be rude to and had a taste of her own medicine  Well done Mick IMHO

“crack on you silly cow, I don’t work here” - Comedy gold :woot:

Simon

I am with the OP on this, why would you be nice to someone who speaks to you like that! Nice one Mick.

its ok Mick - you can come in from the "naughty step" now.....

I must confess, to being "wuckfit intolerant" as well....

Yep OP was rude, however I will bet my winnings of today (and there are some) that if she was polite, he would have been. (I would have responded in a similar vein)

I agree with the Op, some people seem to think that because you work in a place you are allowed to be treated with disrespect and talked to like you are a piece of rubbish.
The woman obviously assumed that because she was talking to somebody who works in a supermarket, that she had no need to use manners, it costs nothing to be POLITE!

Mick is having a time out as advised by his extremly good shrink :D

I'm with the OP here too.

Diplomacy is overrated :D Why waste effort being polite to people who can't be themselves?

A friend of mine who works behind the counter in a Post Office often directs "special" customers to the "far queue".

Mick is back,

I read the last half dozen posts late last night

It's just a laugh & the recent posts made me laugh

To top it all I got the job I went for today  Just gotta politely tell my current boss to "stick his poxy job right up his ####in hoop

Mick

As a bus driver for twelve years in a previous life my one & only rule now is, treat people exactly how they treat me.

My mate got a new job and told his boss where to stick it - a few years later, he went for promotion in another department and guess who the new department head was

I tend to get asked while I'm waiting at the coach stop, "where is Tower of London?" Usually as I'm talking to a friend. We laugh and tell them to turn around. Our coach stop is at Tower Hill. Sometimes hard not to come out with a polite response, a lot of the tourists can be very brash when asking

Luckily, the chances of this fella learning to fix jet engines is ZERO

I always try & tailor my response to the recipient
