I'm thinking of buying one of these.. RS Sport Camera Strap by Black Rapid...

Anyone used or own one of these?? Although i'm right handed, i'm thinking of going for the left handed version as i tend to carry my shoulder bag on the right, it just doesn't feel right on the left side... ... have i confused you yet?

Anyway, any comments on the strap would be appreciated...

Hopefully in the sales (as if )
I confused myself a bit looking at the left and right one
But will get the right one not left
And the version 1 not 2
I would like the camo one but the extra price is silly


But with the left one I guess you would grab the lens first to leave the grip free for your right hand
 
Hi Martin, I would also prefer the right, if i could make myself leave the rest of my gear at home... i do however, also have a backpack style bag, so it wouldn't be an issue then.. ... i'm gonna have a think.. .. as for the camo, i know what you mean regarding the price difference... however, i saw it on Crooked Imagings website and if i'm correct, i seem to recall the price difference wasn't much between them.. ... i'm also going for Version 1 as it's got a thicker strap and slightly longer too... I usually have my camera over my left shoulder anyway when i have my bag on the right, so i guess it wouldn't be too much of an issue.. ... ah, decisions decisions... ... lol
 
I was going off of amazon prices
Might have changed now
But £10 extra for the same thing but different colour seems a bit much

I normally just take camera out alone
I have a large camera bag so not really a take about one
 
I also prefer the larger strap
Making it thinner doesn't make Spence but I read it was also better for people with lighter cameras
