Footdee or 'Fittie', as it is pronounced locally, is one of Aberdeen's hidden gems. It's a quaint former fishing village at the entrance to the busy harbour.

Thanks, there are no roads, hence no cars about, just pavement and rows of almost uniform mid-19th-century cottages. The community was originally built to re-home the city's fishermen
