Ordered some prints from DSCL on Friday and they arrived on Saturday morning. That was
less than 24 hours from me uploading the pics to them turning up, brill service from DSCL.

Unfortunately we were away for the weekend and my daughter was 20 seconds late
answering the door. I now have a card which says i can pick the package up in 72 hours
from the time of delivery at the depot !!!

How does that one work then?, delivered within 24 hours yet 72 to get back to the depot...

In many places posties will not be able to return to the depot after their saturday deliveries, they will have to drop and failed deliveries off at a local post office.
These will then get picked up from said local post office an returned to the depot on monday at some time - often smaller post offices only have one pickup
Ready for collection on Tuesday.
72 Hours.

Same if the postie holds onto the failed delivery and returns it on monday morning - still takes time to be booked back in at the depot so no guarantees if tiwll be ready for when they open the office
