Anyone had any experience of Royal Mail Special Delivery 'losing' an item.
Sent a lens a week ago or so RMSD, didn't arrive, entering the tracking number-it still says it's in the system?
Luckily the lens is insured to £500.
Have reimbursed the buyer for price of lens (on the understanding that if the lens turned up he would re-pay).
So will go through the claims process (after 10 working days) -has anyone done this ?, how easy is it ?, any minefields I need to be aware of?
